Horn X2 PRO – Quick Setup

Step 1: Place the Horn

Place the horn securely on the plinth cradle.

Step 2: Connect Horn Leads

Red to red, black to black.

Step 3: Insert Resistor


Adjust horn volume with the resistor.
Higher values = louder · Lower values = softer

Step 4: Connect Capacitor

Sets the crossover point.
Higher values = lower crossover (more mids)
Smaller values = higher crossover (less mids)

Step 5: Connect Amplifier

Amp connects to the center binding posts.

Step 6: Connect Speaker

Speaker connects to the outer binding posts.

Red to red, black to black


Audiophile Deep Dive

Resistor (parallel leg of L-pad) → balances output, controls impedance load, and smooths integration.

Capacitor (high-pass element) → sets cutoff frequency and Q, shaping the horn/woofer transition.
