Born from the Horn X2

At its core, Hiro shares the same acclaimed crossover, compression driver, and horn as our Horn X2 — the platform that has redefined what plug-and-play horn integration can be.

You’re getting the exact Beyma CD171 FE/PK driver, paired with our finely tuned cast aluminum horn and proprietary crossover network, all housed in a full-range cabinet that takes the experience further.

• Full-Range Extension: With the Mark Audio CHR-120 handling the lows and mids, and the Horn X2 top-end system taking over from ~2kHz, Hiro delivers a dynamic response from ~32Hz to 20kHz (±3dB).
• True High Sensitivity: Thanks to the tuned cabinet vent and efficient drivers, Hiro reaches 93 dB sensitivity at 1 watt — ideal for low-watt SET amps and high-end solid-state gear alike.
• Tunable Horn Output: As with the Horn X2, the Hiro features an external resistor-based L-pad on the horn path — easily adjustable to tailor high-frequency output to your room or taste.
• Statement-Worthy Cabinet: Built from premium Baltic Birch with a hand-rubbed Black Limba face, Hiro’s 1.7 cubic foot cabinet is tuned for tight, expressive bass and designed to look as good as it sounds.
• Refined Crossover Integration: Uses the Horn X2’s phase-correct crossover topology, ensuring a clean handoff between woofer and horn, no phase weirdness, no guesswork.
